Terms And Conditions Of The CDA Guarantee
All CDA appliances are covered by a 5 year parts guarantee* plus a full parts and labour guarantee during the first year.
All level 3 cooking products carry an additional "Plus 5" guarantee*; providing a 5 years parts plus a full 5 years
free labour cover.
All CDA sinks and taps are covered by a 5 years parts guarantee*. Labour/fitting costs may be provided during the first year. See terms and conditions for more details.
In the case of appliances supplied for new properties at construction stage, the labour guarantee is extended by one year to give a full two year parts and labour guarantee. Subject to registration and running from the date that title of the property is transferred.
All guarantees subject to registration. Statutory rights are not affected.
Conditions of cover
- Parts are defined as mechanical/electrical parts only
- No guarantee is valid unless the product has been registered within one month of purchase
- Proof of date of purchase must be supplied
- To qualify for free parts the parts must be fitted by a CDA appointed engineer
- Any attempts to modify or repair an appliance by an unauthorised person will render all guarantees invalid
- A charge will be made for attending a reported fault that transpires to be due to misuse or mis-installation
- This guarantee covers domestic use only - commercial use is not covered
- Guarantees are not transferable in whole or in part
- Taps - During the first year, at our discretion, we may pay for refitting (on receipt of the faulty part/tap, once inspected and deemed faulty) up to a maximum defined cost.
- Guarantees are not reset following repair or replacement. They remain effective from the date of purchase
- Products over one year old that are considered beyond repair or uneconomical to repair are not subject to exchange/refund or compensation
- Guarantees apply in the UK and Southern Ireland only
The following are not covered by a CDA Guarantee
- Faults due to incorrect installation
- Faults due to incorrect use or abuse
- Faults due to accidental damage or misuse
- Loss or damage to clothing, food or any material or property subsequently affected by failure of the appliance or delay in repair
- CDA do not accept responsibility for damage sustained to any property whilst attending to or moving a product during repair
- Consumables such as bulbs, seals, fuses, filters, external hoses, cosmetic parts, baskets, trays, burner caps, burner bases etc
- Refrigeration system blockages and gas leaks
