Transport Operator

Transport Operator. Full-time. Permanent. Rotating shifts between 0600hrs and 1900hrs; flexibility is required

We are looking to appoint a Transport Operator to assist in the running of a busy Transport department. The company currently operates a mixed fleet of 15 vehicles and delivers to our customers 5 days a week to all points of the UK.

Key objectives of the role include:
• To provide and facilitate an efficient, legally compliant logistics solution to satisfy the distribution needs of The CDA Group Ltd..
• To ensure all areas are operated in a smooth efficient and cost effective manner to meet the needs of the Business
• To support the Transport Team Leader with the efficient running of the Transport Operation and help ensure that all cost, quality and performance targets are achieved.
• To maintain communication with drivers throughout the day to ensure the plans are realised.
