Transport Manager

In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our busy Transport Department. We currently operate a mixed fleet of 15 modern vehicles and deliver anywhere in the UK, Monday to Friday. Our transport operation is the backbone to our success in the industry; the primary objective is to provide our customers with the best OTIF service possible. Our utilisation of the most advanced routing software ensures that we operate a highly efficient and professional fleet, and we are looking for someone who can maintain these standards and drive improvements. In particular, we are looking for someone with strong leadership skills who has the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and then take people with them through a programme of change and benefits realisation.

Candidates should have a proven track record in a customer focused transport environment, combined with previous management experience and an ambition to be the best. A strong customer service ethos is essential. A CPC or the willingness to obtain this qualification is essential. The successful candidate will be a good team player with the ability to communicate at all levels and to motivate and develop the transport team towards future success.
