Record month!
Staff at appliance specialist CDA are celebrating the company’s best ever month. October 2009 trading was 13.3 percent above target and over 30 percent above October 2008. It was also the best month in the Nottinghamshire based company’s history - a remarkable achievement against the background of continued caution in the market.
Growth has been a feature of 2009 for CDA - so much so that three new appointments have been made in order to cope with increased business. “These are new posts, not just replacements,“ says MD Ian Kershaw. “ I am obviously delighted with the amazing results for October. Our sales have been steadily increasing since the beginning of the year and our sales and marketing strategy, together with the close relationships we have with our customers is obviously paying off. It is a mark of the quality of our appliances that several have been awarded Energy Saving Trust Recommendation - something that is highly valued by consumers as they seek to cut running costs and lead a greener lifestyle. We are optimistic for the next few months, - but we remain cautious and are monitoring the climate continuously as we do feel there is a way to go before we come out of the recession. However, we certainly appear to be bucking the trend - a testament to the hard work of our staff and customers.”
