Our history

Established in 1991, CDA has built a solid reputation for stylish, reliable products.

The range now consists of over 450 appliances, sinks and taps. Each product is given the same high level of care and attention to ensure that it delivers our passion for high quality, innovation, reliability and style.


Key Dates

1991:


1992:

  • Diversified into distribution of several other brands in order to grow customer base and gather market intelligence. Included manufacture of CDA branded kitchen furniture.

1995:


1996:


1998:


2000:

  • Sold kitchen furniture division.
  • Ceased distribution of all non-CDA branded products.

2001:

  • Won the Lord Mayor's Award for Industry.

2003:

  • One million CDA branded products sold.

2004:

  • Acquired and re-located to 9 acre site incorporating all UK Logistics, Warehousing, Quality Control & Testing and Customer Care after-sales services.
  • Also located on site are Sales, Marketing, IT and Finance.

2005:

  • Won Manufacturers' Award for design, innovation and functionality.
  • Next day delivery introduced to majority of UK postcodes.

2006:

  • Introduced national coverage of service engineers.
  • Achieved highest first time fix rate in industry.

2008:

  • Launched over 200 new products, including the unique integrated draught beer dispenser.
  • Awarded ISO9001 accreditation.

2009:

  • Won "Product of the Year" award. Various CDA products recommended by the Energy Saving Trust.

2010:

  • Extension to head office increased space by almost 50%, giving more resources to Customer Service and Research & Development.
