From 5th November 2012 all CDA drivers will be using the company’s new PDA system.
CDA have invested in a new IT infrastructure that will improve our service and make deliveries in particular more efficient. The result of this investment means our drivers will no longer carry any paperwork with them. Instead all delivery information is controlled by the depot and sent to a PDA device. In doing so it will help us improve delivery efficiency, plan drops more effectively and most importantly allow our logistics team to track driver information in real time.
When signing for delivery you will now be required to sign the PDA rather than a delivery sheet. This does however mean the driver will no longer leave a delivery note. Consequently from 5th November proof of delivery will be available immediately on request from the CDA logistics team.
