Buy and sell holidays
At the end of every year CDA employees have the option to buy or sell holidays as part of the following year’s entitlement. You can buy or sell up to a total of 3 days and the deductions will be taken out of your monthly salary over a 12 month period.
Employees are expected to wear clothing that reflects the image of CDA. As a result CDA will provide you with free polo shirts/formal shirts, sweatshirts and fleeces and any further uniform specifically needed for your role. You must also wear black jeans, trousers, skirt or dress and black shoes (not provided by CDA unless your role requires safety boots).
Company Pension Scheme
CDA operates a contributory pension scheme with Royal London. You will automatically be enrolled in to the pension scheme with a matched contribution of 5% on the 3rd month of your employment.
Should you wish to increase your contribution to the pension scheme CDA will match this up to 5%.
CDA also offers a salary exchange for the pension scheme which means that you will save 12% national insurance on the amount you exchange.
Westfield Health Chamber Primary Healthcare Plan
Employees are covered by the Westfield Health Chamber Primary Health Cover. Under this plan employees are able to claim for medical expenses relating to a number of specified areas, such as optical care and dentistry. This benefit also supports you with physiotherapy, chiropody, and acupuncture costs as well as offering 24 hour counselling lines and face to face sessions.
Perkbox is an online and app based benefits platform that has a huge range of perks and discounts for all CDA employees. These range from discounts on hotels, restaurants and shopping to health and fitness!
Your manager will also use Perkbox as an employee recognition tool. This can be done through rewarding badges or vouchers through the platform.
Eye Care Vouchers
Don’t neglect your eye sight! CDA offers all employees a free eye test voucher every two years.
CDA offer a daily salad bar, sandwiches, toasties, jacket potatoes and daily specials. All at a subsidised rate!
All permanent employees are entitled to buy products at Friends and Family rates from your start date.
Discounts vary between 36% and 40% off the trade price and work out better value than you can buy online.
