Will I get confirmation of my warranty details in the post?

We do not confirm receipt of your warranty details. However, we will keep your information on our secure database to ensure that in the event of us needing to get hold of you regarding your appliance or guarantee, we can do. Also, should you need to telephone us to arrange an engineer visit, we can bring up your details in a flash.

Where can I find my CDA serial number?

CDA has developed an easy to follow infographic showing where the serial number can be found on our appliances. Find it at www.cda.eu/warranty/serialnumbers

Under the guarantee, which parts are classed as consumables and which are cosmetic?

The following are not covered under the warranty:

  • Any removable items
  • Glass
  • Plastic
  • Bulbs
  • Filters
  • Fuses
  • External hoses
  • Trays
  • Baskets
  • Seals
  • Burner caps
  • Burner bases
  • Pan stands;
This list is not definitive.

If I didn’t register within 30 days what warranty am I entitled to?

1 year parts and labour. You can reinstate the warranty, there is an administration fee of £35 for one appliance or £45 for more than one appliance, this will give you a full 2 years labour and 5 years parts warranty.

I only want to claim for free parts.

You are only entitled to free parts when they are fitted by a CDA engineer or approved repair agent. We do not send free parts upon request.

What should I do before installing?

Unpack upon receipt of the product, check it thoroughly for any damage. If any damage is found please contact the retailer that you purchased the appliance from and do not install.

Read the fitting instructions to make sure the appliance is installed correctly, failure to follow the installed instructions will invalidate the warranty.

My appliance has been delivered damaged what should I do?

Initially you should always refer back to the installer or retailer that the appliance was purchased from prior to installation.

My appliance is installed and it is damaged.

If your appliance is fitted damaged CDA will not accept responsibility, you will need to contact the installer. We can supply replacement parts if available however they are chargeable. Replacement appliances will not be supplied.

Where can I buy CDA spare parts?

For simple fixes like bulb replacements and spare accessories or filters, visit our online parts shop. Here you will be able to find exactly what you need and get it send straight to your home.

If you are unsure, please contact our friendly Customer Care team direct on 01949 862012. We can help to diagnose many faults over the telephone. CDA has its own highly trained engineers who can source any spare parts needed and come out to you to get your appliance up and running again. We do not recommend that customers attempt to fix appliance faults themselves.
